Where can I park my car? Do I have to pay for parking or register my car in advance?

Our outdoor parking lots are available free of charge and without pre-registration. For Marriott guests, the lobby is most easily reached from Parking Lot A.

You can use the airport shuttle service which is offered free to Marriott's guest at Jeju Airport. In addition, for driving approximately 40-45min. For public transfer, please take express bus no 151 or 152 from Jeju airport gate number 4 and transfer 255 at Dong Kwang transit station.

What is the maximum number of guests per room at Marriott Resort?

Rooms at Marriott Resort are designed to accommodate two adults as standard, but can take up to three adults or two adults and two children.

Can I use the Swimming Pool, Yoga Room and Fitness Center for free?

Skypool is reserved exclusively for Shinhwa guests. You can use the Swimming Pool, Yoga Room and Fitness Center at no charge until you check out. (However, since minors are not admitted to Skypool after 19:00, guests accompanied by minors may use Mosil Swimming Pool at no charge.)

Do you have play facilities for children in the hotel?

The Shinhwa Resort courtyard has an outdoor playground and maze forest for children to play in, while the resort also has a Playstation Zone offering the latest hit games. We also offer Shinhwa Kids Activities, a series of kids’ programs led by professional instructors, that combine fun and educational development (activities are available at extra cost, and for room guests only).

Reservations are not taken for the breakfast buffet. Seats are offered on a first come, first served basis.

I’m staying at a Jeju Shinhwa World. Can I pay for my tickets when I check out?

This is possible for staying guests only. To do so, please give your room number and the name under which your reservation was made at the ticket office. Unfortunately, this payment method is not available before resort check-in or after check-out.

Are group discounts available?

Discounts are available for groups of 15 or more people, only through advance telephone reservations made via our main number (+82-64-908-8888).

Can I take a look around Shinhwa Theme Park before making a group reservation?

Yes, you can. But please note that viewings must be booked at least one day in advance via our main telephone number (+82-64-908-8888).

I’ve bought tickets on-line. How do I get in?

▶ If you bought your tickets on the Shinhwa World website
 Just come straight to the park entrance with the QR code from the booking confirmation form you received by email.

▶ If  you bought your tickets from a social commerce site 
or an on-line travel agency (such as Interpark, Coupang or Naver) 
Please bring the QR code you received by Kakao Talk (sender: 모바일티켓알리미) or by text message (sender: 1544-1555). If you have any inquiries, please use the contact number given on the site at which you bought your ticket(s).

Height restrictions apply to some rides for safety reasons. For more details, please refer to the Jeju Shinhwa World website.

Where can I charge my mobile phone?

You can use chargers for phones or battery packs at the Mobile Tower by the Guest Service Center. Fees apply.

Can I use multiple different discounts to buy Shinhwa Theme Park tickets?

Multiple discounts cannot be used for buying Shinhwa Theme Park tickets. Please check our website for details of current promotions.

Can I hire or purchase towels and swimming gear?

As part of our efforts to protect the environment, we do not rent out towels or swimming gear. These items can be purchased at the souvenir shop on the first floor of the lobby.

Can I take food into the water park?

Food cannot be taken into the water park, with the exception of peeled and seedless fruit, baby food, special food for medical patients, and drinks held in plastic containers.

Children aged 5 and above must use the changing room of their own gender only.

What is your coin system and how can I use it?

The coin system allows you to charge your coin band with a certain value in advance. You can then use your coin band to pay at restaurants and other paid venues within the water park. You can charge your coin band by cash or card at the Coin Station in the first floor lobby, then visit again as you leave to settle your bill and receive any remaining balance.

Do I have to wear a swimming cap and life jacket?

We do advise wearing swimming caps in order to help maintain high water purity, hygiene and safety levels. At some attractions, such as the Wave Pool and certain other rides, life jackets must be worn.

Can I exit the water park for a while and then come back in?

You can leave for up to 30 minutes. Please tell a member of staff at the exit if you plan to return.

Can children below 125cm in height ride water slides when accompanied by a guardian?

All slides at Shinhwa Water Park can only be used by people at least 125cm tall, whether they are accompanied or not. This rule exists for the safety of slide users, and must be followed. 
※ Rule applies to Big Cup, Extreme Pipe, Super Creeper Coil, Giant Double Leaf and Deep Blue slides only. (Kids’ slides excluded.)

Can I use the water park while wearing normal clothing?

You can wear any type of clothing when entering the water park. However, you must wear proper swimming gear when entering the pools, in order to maintain a clean and pleasant water environment.

How much does it cost to use your meeting room?

Meeting rooms can be booked for a minimum of four hours. Please inquire separately for rates.

What are your maximum venue capacities?

Landing Ballroom, our largest venue, seats at least 1,000 guests in Class-type configuration. For more details, please refer to our website.

Do you also host small meetings and events?

We offer a selection of small and medium-sized meeting rooms for smaller-scale events. Our eight small meeting rooms are all the same size, while our three medium-sized venues can be divided into smaller spaces, as required.

How many large buses can your parking lot accommodate?

Shinhwa Theme Park offers parking for at least 50 large buses, while each resort also has dedicated bus parking spaces.

Can food be brought into meeting rooms?

Our basic rule is that no food or drinks other than items from the venue catering menu can be brought in from outside. In cases where drinks must be brought in, a corkage charge applies. Please inquire with the relevant resort department.

Do I have to live in Korea to become a Shinhwa Rewards member?

No, Shinhwa Rewards is for everyone, but applicant shall be at least 19 years of age.

What do I do if I forgot my ID or password?

If you have lost your password, select ‘Reset Password’ on the ‘Shinhwa Rewards Application,’ enter the e-mail address you have registered for subscription, and click ‘Send restoration e-mail.’ Then, you can set a new password through the e-mail which has been delivered to your e-mail address. If you are unable to retrieve detailed information on your membership account, please contact us at Rewards@shinhwaworld.com or 1670-7770 for assistance.

Will my Shinhwa Rewards account expire?

Shinhwa Rewards is a lifetime membership and will not expire. However, Landing Jeju Development Co., Ltd can inactivate your account if your membership has not been used for two years or longer.

How do I cancel my membership?

To cancel your Shinhwa Rewards membership, write to rewards@shinhwaworld.com or +82 908 7770. Your personal details will then be deleted from our system. After canceling your Shinhwa Rewards membership, your Shinhwa Dollars will be forfeited, and you will no longer enjoy the privileges of the program.

How do I get my birthday benefit?

You need to subscribe and register your date of birth on the member information until the 24th of the previous month of your birthday to receive benefits. You can check your voucher provided as benefits for your birthday in the Voucher on your Shinhwa Rewards Application on the last day of the previous month of your birthday.

Is my Shinhwa Rewards account transferrable? Can I exchange my Shinhwa Dollars for cash?

No, Shinhwa Rewards account and Shinhwa Dollars are strictly non-transferable and non-exchangeable.

What happens to my Shinhwa Dollars if I returned a good for refund?

For refund done at Shinhwa Rewards participating outlets, the Shinhwa Dollars earned on the purchase of the goods shall be debited into your account immediately.
If the refund and points debit involves a tier change, your new tier will be effective immediately after the refund is done, and you will get the benefits associated with the new tier.

I do not have enough Shinhwa Dollars, can my friend top up the difference using his/ her Shinhwa Dollars?

Only one account’s Shinhwa Dollars can be used per transaction. You cannot pay for a transaction using more than one Shinhwa Rewards account. The balance can be topped up using cash, credit card or debit card.

When do my Shinhwa Dollars expire?

Shinhwa Dollars will expire 36 month after the date it was earned rounded up to the end of the month. For example, if you earned your Shinhwa Dollars on the 5th May 2019, it will expire on the 31st May 2022.

What happens to my Shinhwa Dollars after the expiry date?

Any unredeemed Shinhwa Dollars will be automatically forfeited. There will be no extension of validity for unused Shinhwa Dollars.

From when can I you Shinhwa Dollars?

You can use your Shinhwa Dollars right away if you have an accumulated amount after you have purchased something for the first time.  
(When you accumulate points for KRW 500,000 or more of payment at certain stores, the points may not be accumulated immediately, and will be accumulated within one business day. If you cannot check your points even after two business days, please contact us at Rewards@shinhwaworld.com or 1670-7770, and we will help you as fast as we can.)

What is the point accumulation rate of an actually paid amount?

For the Gold tier, if you have paid KRW 10,000, you can accumulate 300 won, which is 3% of the payment.

Yes, you can. Here’s how you can do it. 
1. If you visit the store again, you can accumulate the Shinhwa Dollars only when you visit within the same day and show your receipt. 
2. If you want to accumulate the Shinhwa Dollars after you have visited a store but the day has already passed, you need to have your receipt with the payment details you want to accumulate the points for, to contact us at Rewards@shinhwaworld.com or 1670-7770, and to let us know your Shinhwa Rewards membership number, the ‘Check No.’ on an upper end of your receipt, and the actually paid amount.

How can I use the Shinhwa Dollars?

Shinhwa Dollars can be redeemed as cash equivalent in your next purchase at participating outlets with the conversion rate of SHD 1 = KRW 1.

I tried to use my Shinhwa Dollars, and then they say a PIN is required. How can I set it?

Enter ‘Menu – Settings – Change PIN’ on your Shinhwa Rewards Application, enter a number of four digits to be used as your PIN, and then press the Save button to set it. (If you have lost your PIN, you can reset the PIN using the same method.)

Is there any admin fee that I need to pay for redemptions?

5% admin fee on top of the redemption amount is only applicable at partner outlets that are not owned by LJDC directly. There will be no admin fee for LJDC owned outlets.

You can accumulate points right away after subscribing for Shinhwa Rewards and logging in. You can use your points and/or voucher after authenticating with your e-mail and setting your PIN.

You can update your contact details via the ‘JSW Rewards' app.
